This is my Zachary kit by Joanna
Gomes that I have been working
on over the last three weeks. I
have micro rooted his head, this
is very time consuming.
Rooting is the longest part of
the reborn process, I have
micro rooted only one to
two hairs at a time. You will
not see any unsightly plugs in
my babies hair. I use the best
quality mohair available. The
bigger the head the longer it
takes!!!
This little one is very nearly
finished.
This sculpt that I am working
on below is called, "Thea", by
Ana Healy Turner.
I have been busy painting the
skin tones and am finally
happy with how he/she is
looking.
I wasn't too keen on this
little ones facial features
before I started, but it has
really grown on me.
I
have finished rooting this head
now, and it is just a case of
putting the baby together
This sculpt I'm working on is
called Teagan by Denise Pratt.
I am making this baby for my
daughter as a birthday
present. I have nearly finished
painting, just need to add a few
final details. Then I will
start the rooting.

This kit I am working on now is
called "Jaden" by Aleina
Peterson. I have spent
several days painting her, now
its time to start rooting.
My next project is to reborn
twins.
I am using two SRD sculpts
by Mylene Swertz "Sunny" &
"Summer"
I have just finished painting
and rooting "Sunny" and will
be starting on her twin
"Summer" soon. I haven't
decided for certain, but I
think they will be a boy and a
girl twins.
I am very happy with how the
first twin has turned out, her
hair is my best so far,
although it did take me about
3 weeks to complete!
I will update with pictures of
the second twin during my
progress.

I am now half way through
rooting her hair.
